My husband has had Parkinson's for 25 years, been in a nursing home since January, 1997. Has had a recurrence of severe hallucinations & paranoia (which caused the psychotic episode that put him in the hospital and thence into the NH.) Since he's in the NH, his meds have been cut back quite a bit, 7 doses of Permax .25 MG and 2 doses of Sinement, 25/100. Question is would Mirapex be of any value?? Anyone have any experience with Parkinson dementia?
