Subject: Udall Bill
Phase 2 of the grassroots effort to get the Udall Bill passed is
underway. The Udall Bill supports research for Parkinson's Disease and
Phase 1 was successful such that there are now 63 signed co-sponsors in the
senate and 224 signed co-sponsors in the house who will vote for the bill
when it gets to the respective floors. This Phase 2 requires that we put a
lot of pressure on Sen. William Frist, R, TN who is chairman of the senate
subcommittee which will report on the bill and get it out on the floor for
a full senate vote. It is urgent now to contact Sen. Frist and keep the
message simple:
Support the Udall Bill and have hearings on the Udall Bill next week.
