Linda Forrest's Mom had posted a press release regarding the Shh protein and its possible neuroprotective properties. (Shh has been established as being involved in differentiation and development of cell types in drosophila and rats) After a bit of searching , I found that the article in question is in the August 1st edition of the Journal of Neuroscience.
