Joan, I don't have info on the treatment, but maybe I can help on the hotel accomodations: I used to think that the only way to save money on a hotel bill was to stay in a "cheap" hotel. This is not necessarily true. The same room can have several rates. If you have a need such as yours, many hotel operators will discount the rate. Don't forget, you can get discounts for being members of AARP, AAA, and SAM's club, for example. If you are going to an area with a tourist season, you can save greatly if you can be there in the off season. If you call a hotel directly, rather than using a national 800 number, you can often get a much better rate. Local welcome centers and stores, sometimes have coupons to save as much as 50% on a room. I used to feel embarrassed trying to save money that way, but if anything, the hotels should be embarrased to charge more, just because someone does not know the right questions to ask! Also, many hotels give breakfast with a room, and this can save time and money too. Good luck. Ken B
