When my mother Joyce was diagnosed with PD 6 months ago, her neuro started her on Sinemet. When she saw someone at a motion disorder center, he added Permax. She is still on the two (and has added an antidepressant). There has never been a suggestion by her doctor to cut back on the Sinemet. Isn't this one of the purposes of going on Permax -- i.e., to reduce the Sinemet -- or is it merely an added benefit for some? Debbie White [log in to unmask]
