Dear Camilla,

I've already deleted your original message so I am not certain this is addressed
to the right person that person being the one who's husband had a
delusional/paranoid attack shortly after beginning his trial with Mirapex.

It is conceiveable that his reaction was to Sinemet and only indirectly to
Mirapex. Mirapex is a Dopamine agonist so it tends to magnify the impact of
Sinemet. You might want to ask your doctor to try the Mirapex again but at the
same time significantly decrease the Sinemet. If he then appears undermedicated
and suffers from no delusions one can gradually titrate up the dose of Sinemet.
It would be a shame to miss the potential therapeutic benefits of Mirapex for
the wrong reasons.

regards,

Tom
