Dear Kathy,
We would be very interested in the results of the sinemet
reduction. Recently, the neuro
started my husband on the Mirapex with no reduction to Sinemet of which
he is now taking
25/250 4x a day. The 3 weeks on the progressive Miralpex was an
absolute nightmare so he is now off of it and all the neuro said was to
see a movement disorder specialistt inb which we have to wait until Oct.
to do that.
His case was diagnosed 4 years ago and has no tremors however the
other
symptoms have put him in a wheelchair totally disabled. The progression
has been terribly rapid and we were so hoping that the surgery
performed in France with the double implants
etc. was a glimmer of hope.
After speaking with Medtronics we were informed that the FDA is at
least 2 years away from approval. We were advised to call our
Congressman. Is there anyone else on line who is in this predicament?
