Hello, Mike - You might want to call the Eldercare Locator, 1-800-677-1116, to get their list of resources available in your parents' area. It might be possible to cobble together enough services to allow your parents to stay at home for a while longer, esp if some of you "kids" live nearby and keep tabs on things. One of the resources should be able to provide a social worker who would come to the home and do an assessment; sometimes an objective outsider is easier for parents to listen to than a child (even if adult) is.
