dear Listmembers

Tolcapone (Tasmar) is a COMT Inhibitor still in clinical trials . It has a
new and different function --it prolongs the effective life of levodopa
in the brain

I have some questions about Tolcapone ---Maybe a listmember could help?

In the current trials--
* is tolcapone given to patients taking Sinemet regular and CR?
* are any participants taking other parkinson medications such as
bromocriptine or pergolide or selegiline or amantadine?
* If tolcapone is not now being tested in these combinations when will
such
   tests take place?
* is tolcapone ever combined with these other drugs?

Thanks
