Barb, Don't give up on Mirapex too easily. I, too, am having excessive dyskinesia, even though I took the trial medicaition. Hopefully, it's a temporary problem whlle we cut down on the sinemet sufficiently. One thing that helps me while I'm doing this is to increase the Mirapex gradually instead of quickly. Right now I've added .25 to my morning dose only. After three days I'll add it to my noon dose, and, after three more days, the evening dose. This gives me time to experiment with the correct dose of sinemet. The reason I say don't give up is that Mirapex is more specific than the other dopamine agonists and targets the neurotransmitters that are deficient, rather than using a shotgun, hit-or-miss method. Most medicaitons take a few weeks to adjust to; I guess this is no excpetion. thanks for your message on the Udall bill; Pat
