Hi Jerry,

I just want to second your statement about the level of danger in mixing
SSRIs and PD meds.  There is a theoretical interaction but the risk is
quite small and virtually all PD specialists I know use the combination
(with caution).

I see no advantage of effexor (venlafaxine) over the other SSRI's
insofar as avoiding interaction.  It is a good SSRI plus it has some
other synaptic effects which in my mind might even increase the riskof
some interaction.
