We solved the problem by elevating him 30 degrees in a lazy boy recliner. He doesn't snore or demonstrate apnea and I CAN SLEEP. Mary CG for Mel 76/11 >> I wish that would work for my hubby. He doesn't mind the cpap quite as much tho', I think partially because he can sleep under any conditions!!! There is a new operation that has just been approved that uses radio waves I believe. My hubby is going to check with his Dr. about it, now that we have health insurance. As a little side note...when he was first diagnosed we had no insurance, tho' the cpap people didn't know that....they billed our expired insurance $450.00 per MONTH for that silly machine (which I think they planned on doing for the rest of his life). When they found we had no ins. they sold it to us for $1500.00!!! Just one example of how messed up the system is. Sue, daughter of Rocky 74/15
