Another good thing about going to all of the pre-op appts is that my mother's health is looked at in more detail. The going completely off meds routine has been throwing her blood pressure off so far that she passed out in my arms and a few other times too (makes flying home on an airplane difficult) and we stayed a few extra days while they stabilized her. She is now taking a blood pressure med and we think that it helps her everyday. We think she was feeling "dizzy" amongst other discomforts, on a regular basis throughout the day and nite, as the meds worked on and off. I agree, it is "fascinating"... debbie [log in to unmask]
