Marling,

It's funny or maybe not so funny but we sometimes seem to be in the same chapter of this novel, but on a different page.

Last week was a very stressful week at work including some overtime. I also started soccer practice for my daughters and was out on the field four of the week nights. I didn't sleep well Thursday night.

Friday I was tired and stressed at work. I noticed that my PD side hand felt like it was swollen. I had dystonia in my right arm, but I was also having trouble touching my thumb to my fingertips. The sensation felt like I had swelling and my hands did look puffy, but I thought it was imagination.

Anyway, I can't say for sure but it sounds curious.

My older sister suffers from severe allergies and she will sometimes swell when exposed to an allergin. I have mild allergies and take Claritin at times. I'll have try to be more observative and see if I can get anything to correlate. You know how this bear is.

Being an expert on weight-loss programs (well I try), I know the importance of drinking 64 ounces of water a day. Unfortunately, the Permax sometimes unsettles my stomach and I end up drinking caffeinated sugared soft drinks.

This is a double whammy. The caffeine is a diuretic and the soft drinks contain salts. I'm not sure how this works, but I have been told that this can somehow lead to fluid retention.

I should start taking calcium tablets into work and try those instead of the soda. Then try forcing water. <thinking out loud>

Guess the bottom line is I don't have any answers, but maybe some similar problems.

Keep laughing. I may need an assistant when I go to Vegas and become an Elvis impersanator even if I do sing Jerry Lee Lewis's songs. I'm thinking about recruiting Stephan as my agent to keep me legal and all. Don't pack yet though, I was singing the flip side of "Return to Sender" to my wife the other night and she told me to keep my day job.

O.K. Stephan,

What's the name of the song?
