Terrie,

I wish we had known more of Steve Mulligan while he was alive. He sounds
like he was really quite a guy and that he had quite a vision. Many times,
I recall, people would discover the Web and ask on this list, "What is the
Mulligan Foundation? Is it for real?" They would get no response. And I
dismissed Steve's dream as unrealizable, not because his aims were
unimportant, but rather because nobody on this list seemed to know about
him. The Mulligan Foundation web page seemed to be rarely updated. Even
today, it looks like a ghost site: well done, but untouched for months and
months.

Terrie, I had not known of you until we met at the Forum in July (I was the
guy with the cell phone), and not known of Steve except for his letter in
the Mulligan Foundation web site. I can understand how the web site became
neglected with his declining health - but I can't see how his dream will be
fulfilled if someone doesn't pick up that web site and keep it updated -
and if someone doesn't represent the Foundation on this list and not only
reply to inquiries about the Foundation but also stimulate interest in it.

As a memorial to Steve, is there someone willing to take on the
responsibility?
