Yes, Don, this happens a lot to my mother also. She has to be really careful to chew her food thoroughly. Sometimes it is easier to swallow pills if you tip your head FORWARD because that opens the correct "tube". I hope your throat feels better soon you can enjoy Vivian's cooking again!
