Hi All, I just got back from a visit with my parents. My dad had an appt. with his neuro, and these are the questions that continue to go unanswered: 1. My dad is worried that he is getting Alzheimer's disease, but the neuro said his confusion was due to the PD. Is that always the case? Aren't some PWP's also on meds for Alzheimer's? 2. Dad is having what seems to be rust in his urine, and he read that it was a side effect of levodopa, tho' the neuro had not heard of this. 3. Dad is also suffering from incontinence...is this common? He's not opposed to wearing protective undergarmets, but can't find one without straps or tapes, both of which are confusing to him.. are there any disposables that just slip on like underwear? 4. Last but not least, does anyone know of a PD specialist in the Bergen County N.J. area? Thanks in advance, Sue, daughter of Rocky 74/17
