Bryan: I mentioned this problem to my neuro. He said that burning sensations = are not uncommon in people with PD. Apparently, PD causes some people = to exude certain chemicals on the skin which can cause burning = sensations. He prescribes Zostrix (sp?) to them because it will leech = the offending chemicals off of the skin. The only problem is that = Zostirx initially increases the burning sensation (e.g., for a week) but = eventually reduces the symptoms. Hopes this helps.
