Simon Fraser University's English Department.  We would appreciate it if

DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH, SIMON FRASER UNIVERSITY

A tenure-track position in Writing & Rhetoric at Assistant or Junior
Associate Professor starting 1 September 1998.  Qualifications include a
Ph.D. and a strong publication record and demonstrated strengths in
teaching and administration.  The successful candidate will be involved in
teaching in the English Department's Writing Centre, in its development and
its research projects, as well as teaching in the English Department.

Application, CV, names of three referees, and a statement of reasons for
applying for the position should be sent to:  Chair, Department of English,
Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, B.C. V5A 1S6 by December 1, 1997.
