Everyone: Thanks to all who responded to my message Sunday. You've given me very useful information. If anyone else has had a pallidotomy -- or any other type of surgery -- I'd still appreciate hearing from you. I'll try to answer individually after my computer is repaired. Yes, Kathy, I've had trouble since April. AOL jacked up their RAM requirements. My four-year-old $2,500 computer only has 4MB. Damn thing wouldn't respond to AOL commands. Finally hauled it to a Best Buy in July to add 12MB RAM and 2 GB harddrive memory. Still doesn't work. I plan to have the handy man who's helping us fix-up the house this week take it back for me (I cannot lift it.). That's why my messages are short.
