Don, you are amazing, I believe your fighting spirit and sense of humor will keep you going for a long long time, I sure hope so, we need you! Forgive me, I am going to say somethings to others, to keep from posting twice, and making them read even more. I am lucky not to have PD, but I am here to get whatever I can for my father, who does have PD. I may make jokes, some not so funny, but I have people here who like my humor. My father used to have the best sense of humor, PD has taken 98% of that from him. My mother, his caregiver, has kept him alive, when the doctor was ready to write him off, she still has a great sense of humor, which she certainly needs now. There is sometimes a fine line between humor and sadness, I have even heard attempted humor about Princess Diana, before she was cold....that is certainly in bad taste. I hope I NEVER hurt or insult anyone with my attempts at humor. I also respect the time it takes to read the Parkinsn list. I read it every day, if I am away, I read every post to catch up. The worst thing is that when one person objects to certain types of posting, mine included, that dozens of lines of dialogue are created, some pro, some con, but ALWAYS much more text to read than the posting being complained about. I will continue to try to be as brief as possible, as helpful as I can be, to those who I can help, and try to stay on subjects that relate to PD. I will also make every effort to take non-relevant material to private Email. This is NOT meant to be critical of those who constructively criticize... I know how they feel. I do believe that life is supposed to be fun, maybe not every second, but at least more happy than sad.......so as the singer (whose name I can"t remember) says "Keep Smilin'"! Ken B
