As a fairly new and seldom heard from list member, I shudder (without PD help) to think what it would be like to have only info or only folksy anecdotes and humor on the list. I often have to catch up on a week's worth of listings at one sitting. Reading the mix of contributions keeps the catching up on the latest info from being overwhelming and the easy obsession with MY "CONDITION" from setting in. O.K., it's sometimes tedious getting through all the entries and, certainly, no one's life and problems are nearly as "interesting" as MINE, but I love the funny blend and the folks it serves, including me.
