> > Request aisle seat, second row Business Class has extra legroom being > alongside Emargency Exit - I think but check at time of early booking This can be a Catch 22: Most U.S. airlines will NOT allow a handicapped person to sit in a row with an Emergency Exit. The "official" reason being that regulations require all persons seated in a row with an Emergency Exit be physically capable of opening the exit door and assisting others to exit. I leave the real reason to your imagination. BTW, Anybody want to give odds as to who will be the first person out the exit in a real emergency? Also, the only times I have ever obseerved passengers seated next to an emergency exit be specifically briefed on the procedure were all on military transports.
