Hi!! I recently joined the PARKINSN list and have received several nice welcoming messages. I=92m a 57 year old male and was diagnosed with PD in February of this year. I am currently taking 2 -100 mg Symmetrel (Amantadine) per day and 2 - 5 mg Eldepryl (Selegiline) per day. I hope this isn=92t a dumb question but, could someone describe to me the apparently common terminology of being "on" or "off" as PD patient I gather that it has to do with the ability to move, but I=92m not sure?.=20 Take care,=20 Julian Hansen (57 / 7 mo) [log in to unmask]
