There was more meat in Dr. Montgomery's article....following are the most
frequent Mirapex side effects and their incidence:
Nausea- 17%
Dizziness- 36%
Hallucinations- 19%
Worsened involuntary movements (dyskinesia) -61% WOW!
Trouble sleeping -23%
Light headedness- 16%
Confusion- 11%
He mentions a few times that Mirapex is not advisable for those with
"thinking" problems. He suggests that a significant benefit to anticipate is
the reduction of off time, as well as the reduction in sinemet.
Personally, I have already experienced less off time, no more end-dose cliff.
