Kathy Barras, Good for you for standing up and being your Mom's advocate! I welcome you to the list and wish you both well. I'm going to ask you to go a step further to help others...write your Mom's first doctor and TELL HIM why you left and took your Mom to a new doctor after 25 years in his care AND TELL HIM the two medical problems that were diagnosed in his patient...that was right under his nose and he didn't recognize...this may impact the care he gives his other patients (one of us may be one)...sometimes "old dogs can learn new tricks"!
