Hi Kathy! It did my heart good this a.m. to read your message. Your Mother has raised one wonderful daughter! Happy to hear she and sinemet are getting along so well. Before my mother passed in 1987, I'd accompany her on doctor visits. At the time she was very ill and she said it was comforting for her to have me there. Recall there was one nurse who objected but, without causing a scene, I assertively persuaded her to change her mind. Spouse, Gene, was diagnosed in 1987 and his first physician suggested since we were "part of a team", he felt I needed to be in the examining room as well. Presently, Gene still likes having me go with him but I always make sure to wait for his invitation. Both he and the doctor will occasionally ask what I've observed in regards to behavior, etc. It's proved to be quite beneficial. Best wishes to you and your Mother. Clara Nistler
