F breezy, cool and dry *********************************************************** Dear fellow PWP's and caregivers on the world list, I am still being abused by the National Parkinson's Foundation and its uninformed allies. THIS must for Heaven;s sake please STOP before it causes me to break down. I received fromm a listfriend whose identity I will not reveaal, a commpletely unexpected long-distance call, while I was in my kitchen during the supper hour, two days ago. She heesitatingly relayed a mesesaagge of unkknnown origin to me, requesting me to STOP asking our listmembers to help me figure out some way to be compensated for the devastation, but avoiding the ordeaal of Court, I have experienced at the hands of the National Parkinson's Foundation and its disappearing doctor Sanchez-Ramos. This has re-opened a horrible nightmare. My caregiver, George, had to watch over me nervously, because after I hung up, I drooped into a two-hour freeze. The cover-up and silence the NPF is trying to impose on my friends and family and myself makes me feel like I am in their twisted version of George Orwell's 1984, and that BIG BROTHER in Miami is trying to silence and banish me. This cruel attempt to ban me from expressing myself is undoubtedly coming from the NPF, like some secret gestapo my Jewish ancestors resisted in Poland. As a 10th-year young-onset PWP, I REFUSE to be censored by hidden forces at the NPF in Miami and Washington. I've worked as hard as possible on every aspect of supporting all PWP's. This includes making Maine the FIRST state to gain 100% sponsorship on the UDall Bill, founding the Greater Portland Parkinson's Support Group, trying to participate with all of you in our mutual battle against PD, leading the way on the Maine Governor's Parkinson's Awareness Day Proclamation in April, and participating in all State, Regional and National educational conferences in which I could volunteer my time. I will continue onward in this positive way. Isn't this list an open forum? Don't we listmembers have freedom of speech? Or does fear rule our lives?? I hardly think ANY listmember would have to endure what I am going through by self-censorship. I ask you all to please call the NPF at 1-800-433-7022 and ask them to compensate me NOW and CLOSE this frightening pressure on me. It is seriously getting at my health, and I am aat a total loss to bear such unfair attacks. I am in confidential e-mail and phone contact with several listmembers now.
