Charlie,

Yes.  Just before I was diagnosed with PD four years ago, I sometimes felt
an irresistible urge to get up and leave the room.  I would walk down the
hall a short distance, turn around, and come back.  A few minutes later I
would do it again.  I felt like screaming, but did not make a sound.  Then
I got the urge to leave the room again.  I was frantic.

It hasn't happened since the Eldepryl started to work.

So it has a name:  akethesia.  I would be interested in more information.

Barb and others,

If the "internal shakiness" feels like you've got to get up and walk
around then it is almost certainly akethesia which had been discussed
before.  We might try to pull those out of the archives if it fits what
people are experiencing.
