Dear Listfriends, I just received a letter in the mail from the state of Wisconsin Medicaid office, on funding for fetal tissue implant surgery. I knew that the government would not pay for the operation. However, I figured that was a place to begin. The MediCAID director mentioned that if the procedure is ever proved to be effective, the committee would take it under advisement, and that they would probably start paying for it. My question is: How much evidence will be required before tissue transplants are recognized as non-experimental. Jacob
