I am inquiring of the list as to the wisdom of participating in a PD drug study. As I understand it the participant must be off all PD drugs for at least three months before trial begins. This is meant to include the Zoloft types, selegiline, etc. My concern is that if no drugs are taken "it" will stop creeping up and instead will come by leaps and bounds. Is this so? Does anyone have any knowldge of what the consequences would be, other than forwarding scientific research? To my knowledge this is a study of early onset PD in subjects with mild symptoms.
