About numbness of the feet as a symptom of PD:

A tingling feeling in his feet was my husband's first symptom. It took
several years of trekking to Stanford before the diagnosis of PD was
finally made. During this time the tingling feeling crept higher and
higher up his legs and the doctors were still calling it peripheral
neuropathy. This feeling is still with him all of the time, although it
diminishes in intensity when he is "on". He sometimes refers to the
feeling as numbness, although he has no loss of feeling in his feet or
legs when the neuro uses the standard pin-pricking test.
