The "Hole-in-the-Head Gang?" SOMEHOW a pallidotomy takes on a whole new perspective when it's called THAT! I mean, when I tell someone I had a postventrical stereotactic unilateral pallidotomy, I KNOW that even tho they don't have a CLUE what that is, I'm gonna get a LOT of mileage for just being able to SAY that! It... it... it sounds SO important and unique! Then YOU come along, Mr. Greene, with your "Hole-in-the-Head Gang!" Sheeeeeeesh! THAT sounds like a it's right outta the old west! I can see it now::::::poof:::::: (mists swirl) John Wayne rides into town (theme song from "Bonanza" starts to play), hauls his horse to a stop in front of the Long Branch Saloon, goes up to the bar and says "GIMME A PALLDOTOMY! In fact, make it a DOUBLE!" <giggling> Well.... you get the picture! <grin> IDA - Silliness aside, welcome to the club, m'dear. I wish you the best of recoveries with a renewal of the many sweet and precious things that make life worth living. A big, warm hug to you... Congratulations on your pallidotomy. I hope it has resulted in the reduction of the dyskkinesia you have experienced so long. Dennis
