Having had a Pallidotomy, I can tell you that unless the quality of your life is so unbearable and your neuro and surgeon have given you the go-ahead WAIT. Not knowing your specific PD symptom details there are so many new drugs available in the last few months and more in final stages of testing one of them may help you deal with your particular PD problem.
