Gee Jackie... Los Angeles has the same type of weather that Sarasota has
without the humidity (usually). And guess who lives THERE? <bowing> (grin)
Right! MOI......

Plus my hometown, L.A. offers a wide variety of daily thrills such as a
drive-by shootings, earthquakes, wildfires, and almost daily police chases to
watch on TV. Right now we're experiencing local floods thanks to Hurricane
Nora...

Why it's not impossible to any one or MORE of these events on any given day.
YOUSA! L.A. offers a thrill-a-minute!!

Let's face it, m'dear... Sarasota has a looooong way to go before it can offer
all that excitement to out-of-town visitors!

As an alternative to Sarasota and L.A. (albeit a much less exciting
alternative) <lol>I was thinking about Las Vegas since so many hotels there
offer very low regular rates, plus there are always junkets with low plane
flight rates from all over the USA and Canada especially for those with Vegas
as their destination. Just a thought....

Barbara Mallut that is a FANTASTIC idea! It would be so nice to meet
everyone. I vote for Sarasota Florida (where Bob and I live) it is so
beautiful here. Wouldn't it be nice for everyone to come for a visit and
get out of the winter cold?

The only problem is that MANY people from the North come here in the winter
months, so rooms would be at a premium. What are your thoughts, everyone?
