My wife (the Parkinsionian) probably needs me less than I need her - and the physical component of our union is not what it is about, at least from my point of view. But then, we love each other, even though we have been married to each other for 80 years (40 for her, 40 for me), and yes to each other and our children admire that. Love is indeed a strange and wonderful emotion to maintain as we grow together. MM
