In his case, I'm sure it was due to the progression of the disease, coupled with an inability to take enough Sinemet (without severe side effects) to counter it. When he started the Mirapex, his posture suddenly was upright again. If he's stressed physically or mentally, apparently his dopamine supply gets used up faster, and then he'll show a little of that stooping tendency again. To us, that means his stooping is related to not enough dopamine getting to his brain, in whatever form. Hope this info helps. Margie Swindler [log in to unmask]
