Can you explain me how I can react on a message on the Parkinsonlist (and
to quote only that special message I want to react on)?

The exact procedure depends on your mail program, but most follow the same
general sequence. First of all, you must select the Reply function. Some
programs will ask you if you want to quote the message while others may
have that as an option setting. If you are getting the digest the whole
thing will be quoted upto the limit of your editor. What I do is copy the
exact message I want to quote and then select Do Not Copy Message. Of
course the drawback there is that you have to supply the delimeter
(usually a ">") yourself. One thing I also do is send a copy of my reply
to the originator since a lot of people (like me) quite often do not get a
chance to read every digest.
