Hi and welcome, Emily. You asked about Medicare coverage for your Mother. If she needs "skilled nursing" even temporarily, Medicare will cover that as well as associated services like OT,PT,personal care, so long as the need for nursing /skilled help exists. Perhaps that would be a way to get an evaluation of her needs/solutions, and the OT help you mentioned. Ask some HOme Health agencies about it.....there are resources out there that we often overlook.
