Hello! I'm new to the list. My name is Bob Vernon and I am a social
worker. I work with a group of older men in an adult day-care center,
once a week. One of them has been coping with PD for about thirteen
years. He is VERY diligent at keeping up on the latest treatments. (He
had one of the first Paliodotomies in the US at age 72.) He is very
interested in learning about the effects, status, and availability of
three medications currently being tested:
1. Tolcapone (Hoffman & LaRoche) <I understand this is available in
Europe.>
2. Entacapone (Sandoz)
3. Ropinirole (Smith, Klein and Beecham)
We'd appreaciate learning of anyone's exp[erience with these! He and
his family do not use computers, so I will archive any letters you send,
print them, and share them solely with him.
Thank you!

P.S. to Dave: Great woodwork! I thought the ironing board was really
fantastic!
