DuPont Merck, Stadtlanders Pharmacy Create Parkinson's Care Program

WESTPORT, Sep 30 (Reuters) - DuPont Merck Pharmaceutical Co., based in
Wilmington, Delaware, and Stadtlanders Pharmacy, based in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, announced Monday that the companies have formed a joint
quality of care program for Parkinson's disease patients.

According to a joint company press release posted on PR Newswire, the
program will address specialized clinical and educational tools, monitoring
of patient drug utilization and compliance, and enhanced reporting to
physicians.

The program will also provide express delivery of medications, direct
billing services to insurance companies and continuous care and counseling
by pharmacists who are specially trained in managing Parkinson's disease.

Stadtlanders Pharmacy is a disease-specific pharmaceutical care provider
for patients with HIV/AIDS, organ transplants and other high-risk disease
states.
