Subject: Re: Sword Dances

Violet Alford, _Sword Dance and Drama_ (1962), writes, pp. 28, 106-7, that
the earliest verifiable record of a sword dance comes from Nuremberg in
1350. Does anybody know of an earlier example?

Thanks in advance,

Max
