I was VERY depressed just two weeks ago because Mirapex lowered my blood pressure WAY TOO LOW (80/50), but now, I'm better. I had to learn to take coffee (caffeine) in the morning, and only a small amount o f Mirapex, until after lunch. I'm on .625/day (5 x .125 mg), and am ALSO my neuro's ONLY Mirapex patient. AS FOR SINEMET, I had to cut down 40% /day -which is good -- to avoid wild dyskinesia, sweats, and precipitous end-of-dose crashes. SO, I think reducing at least one of your husband's doses of Sinemet 25/100, aiming to lower his consumption of 1200 mg/day that you describe, is very likely to help. I am down to 800-900 from 1300, and my "on" periods are longer and smoother. Please give your husband a big hug from me, and here is a 'cyberhug' for you: ((((0)))). Yours, IVAN (47/10)
