Dear Becky-- I am concerned that your mother falls "2 or 3 times a day"--
and is only 2 years post-diagnosis.  I understand that this may be the case
for PWPs, but also know that falling is one predominant symptom of some
of the "Parkinson-Plus" syndromes. The fact that she has not found a med
program that helps her also raises questions.  Just a thought--PD is not
always diagnosed accurately, and it is very hard to distinguish the
idiopathic (regular) PD from the Plus versions, which do NOT respond to
Sinemet.  Would it be worth double checking with her  neurologist
whether they are SURE of the dx?
