One week ago my Neuro started me on Mirapex with instructions to titrate the dosage from 0.375 (0.125mg x 3) daily for one week, to 0.75 (0.125+0.125 x 3) daily for the second week, and finally the "therapeutic" dosage of 1.5 (0.25+0.25x3) daily. The first day I started taking Mirapex my bothersome symptom of arm(s) and/or leg(s) spasms no longer occurred. Since the beginning dosage of 0.375 mg per day is working, should I continue with the titration plan? My Neurologist is on vacation. You guessed right ! I'm going to stay on the current dosage until he has returned from Asia and then ask him what he recommends. What would you do? Another agonists (Permax) along with diuretics I use for Edema of both feet and legs dangerously lowered my blood pressure contributing to angina which resulted from partly blocked heart arteries. So far, my blood pressure is fine with Mirapez (at this low dosage). Fred <[log in to unmask]
