Don, I note that you have Eudora 1.5.4. I have Eudora 3.0.1, but I believe
both have a little box at the top which shows up when you are reading a
letter. It is near the upper left hand corner of the screen, and it says,
"BLAH BLAH BLAH". Click the box and it gives you the full heading; click
it again and get the abbreviated heading.
If you are now getting the full heading, then click the box and find out
how much you can shorten the message by eliminating the routing information
and so on. If you are already getting the abbreviated heading, click the
box and find out how much heading you are already saving!
Incidentally, I learned that you are using Eudora 1.5.4 by looking at the
full heading. That's in there too!
