I am going to try once more to get the attention of seniors out there-I
am one also. I do not like the government telling me I cannot pay for
the care I need-I don't think you will like it either. This is exactly
what will happen if we do not get the bill from the house Ways and Means
Committe repealed. No one will do this for us. Talk about age
discrimination!!!
Thank you,
Nita Andres

According to the Wall Street Journal(s) dated Sept. 12 and Oct 1.,
congress has passed and the president has signed into law a bill that
probhits your doctor from giving you any medical care not approved by
Medicare(nor can you pay for it). Medicare has become the all powerful
arbitor of medical care for senior citizens.

Medicare is not that smart. This is also an infringement on our rights.
Senator Kyl, of Arizona and Representative ARcher of Texas have
inroduced a repealing bill entitled Medicare Beneficiary Freedom to
Contract Act. Please write your senators, representative and the
president asking them to pass and sign the new bill. Otherwise the first
bill will go into effect Jan.1,1997. There is a web site
http://www.visi.com/juan/congress/ where you can find their names and
addresses. Please don't put this off. (I am sorry I didn't know about it
before)
