I do not like the government telling me I cannot pay for the care I need-I don't think you will like it either. This is exactly what will happen if we do not get the bill from the house Ways and Means Committe repealed. No one will do this for us. Talk about age discrimination!!! Medicare has become the all powerful arbitor of medical care for senior citizens. Medicare is not that smart. This is also an infringement on our rights. Senator Kyl, of Arizona and Representative ARcher of Texas have inroduced a repealing bill entitled Medicare Beneficiary Freedom to Contract Act. Please write your senators, representative and the president asking them to pass and sign the new bill. Otherwise the first bill will go into effect Jan.1,1997. There is a web site http://www.visi.com/juan/congress/ where you can find their names and addresses. Please don't put this off.
