Becky, Just another quick note about wheelchairs: If your mom has Medicare and her doctor prescribes a wheelchair, then Medicare will pay for it. (Actually, Medicare pays rent on the chair for a certain period of time, then it pays off the balance making the chair yours.) Hope this helps you or someone else on the list.
