The House and Senate Passed another Continuing Resolution (CR) today(10/22) by voice vote. It will expire at midnight on Friday, November 7th. This will presumably allow congressional appropriators the time they need to complete work on the remaining 6 spending bills prior to adjournment. As for the Labor HHS Appropriations Conference, the Conferees did not meet this afternoon. At this point, it is unclear as to whether or not they will convene again this week. (but they are running out of time) I will do my best to keep the members of this listserve aprised of any further developments. Stay tuned. Bill Turenne, Jr. NPF/ Washington
