Included below are the messages from Barbara Potts re the word "hypomimia" which Charlie Meyer kindly explained the meaning of to me. (It means reduced facial expression.) Ms. Potts is now concerned about the appropriateness of its use in an article about pd. Is anybody familiar with it? We are currently producing an article on Parkinsons Disease, and have encountered the word HYPOMIMIA. We cannot find this word in the Medical Dictionary. While we understand the meaning of the term, is that the correct terminology??? I'd appreciate any light you can shed on this for us. Thanks.
